The Bathroom Lady at ClubsTip for A Towel. Huh?

Quick rant/question that I was discussing with two friends the other night - the bathroom lady at clubs and lounges.

Don't get me wrong, I think they are sweet and in many cases, HYSTERICAL.

However...

When I finish my duties in the stall and come out to wash my hands, I don't think it makes sense to tip the lady a dollar just for getting me a towel. I can get my own towel. Of course, if I take some gum, use the hair spray or even take a lollipop, I'm more than happy to provide a tip.

To the club owners out there, you may have your own reasons to have someone 'supervise' the ladies loo, but in our opinion, you are adding more reasons for us to not come back and visit. First you are charging a $10 or higher cover, forcing me to check my coat and then putting pressure on me to tip the bathroom lady after handling my 'duties'. Before even buying a drink, I spent about $15 between entry, coat checking and bathroom tipping.

No wonder gals are masters in getting guys to buy them drinks.

OH they are truly hysterical yes! I went to this new lounge two Saturdays ago and the "bathroom attendant" lady kept saying out loud "be sure to tip this is all I go by, is your tips ladies" It's like give me a break! And this club does charge to get in and drinks are super expensive-what more do they want from us?
