A Salute to Moms...and a Special Thanks to My Mom

We all started out with having a mom. Someone spent nine months carrying us around and bringing us into this zany world.

Some of us lost our moms too soon, but their habits and cooking styles remain with us.

I'm thankful and deeply blessed that my mom, Kosta, is still with me.  She's back in metro Detroit working her full time job, yet finding the time to help me plan my wedding. From the cake, to organizing invitations, my mom is working overtime. She's running around with vendors, relatives and my dad making sure that little old me doesn't freak out. My mom knows how much I have on my plate and wants nothing more than for me to relax at my wedding.

With that, I want to say Thanks, Mom. I know I can be a little frazzled when you call at times, but I'm so happy you are here to help me plan this spectacular event!

Ladies, if your mom is still on this earth, give her a call. If she's not, take a moment to remember her and send over some good vibes. You only have one mom.
