Gals' Guide Needs an Intern: Are YOU It?

Gals' Guide Internship

Successful site geared towards women (college age through late 30s) is looking for an intern to take the bull by the horns!

We are Gals' Guide.  We've been providing tips, deals, special events and a wide array of information for ladies just like you since 2006. Since then, our team's grown to multiple cities, including new writers that are sharing their experiences with starting life in the Big City after college.

With so much information flowing among the cities and answering the needs of our readers - we need a dedicated intern to help us out.  This isn't your typical internship, you'll be expected to:

• Develop a content calendar for our writers
• Be the central hub of all information that flows in from potential partners
• Play a pivotal role with expanding the job bank
• Manage our Twitter and Facebook profiles along with other social media presence
• Spearhead organization of events, while coordinating nationwide events with our other GG writers
• Contribute to the blog on a weekly basis
• Brainstorm new programming opportunities
• Helping us create a weekly podcast
• Updating the site with new links, articles and content

...and that's just the beginning!

You'll be working with a group of amazing writers led by the site's founder, a seasoned veteran of the Chicago online media and start-up scenes. Under her direction, you'll not only have a pivotal role with Gals' Guide, but you'll also receive hands on training in the world of digital and social media.
