I often get asked, 'Do you sleep'? I also get asked, 'What motivates you?' On a sunny Saturday spring day in Chicago, I thought I'd answer these questions for you.
First, I do sleep. I get 6-7 hours a day and am up at 7 (including weekends), no matter what time I go to bed the night before. Back when I was working in corporate America, I'd be up at 6. I do watch TV, but do this moreso to rest my eyes. Even reading a book burns my eyes sometimes.
What motivates me? A whole heckuva lot, but the most important thing that motivates me is the wish to create my own path when it comes to work, family and enjoying life. What motivates you?

Funerals are always last-minute. You are never prepared for one. They happen at the busiest, catastrophic
times, and you begin to use trite phrases like, “when it rains it pours,” or “death

I bought a slew of wine glasses at Cost Plus World Market some years ago. 6 glasses for a whopping $9.99. I was on a tight budget and these glasses came in handy many times when I had parties. I still have these glasses, but I'm about to give them a way. Why?
I married a man who's a wine junkie and he taught me a few things and, of course, that means I have to tell you what I learned:).
