I was at a meeting last night and ran into my friend, Jen. She was packing up her purse and I noticed it was a Longchamp bag, similar to the image on the left, but blue. I've been a fan of these bag for years. I don't own the brand just yet and I realized it's because Longchamp limits where they sell their goods. Nordstrom carries them, along with the famous discount site, eBay. You can also use NexTag to see a listing of who sells Longchamp at any given time. Why do I love these bags so much?
-The standard 'tote' bag you see here is very common in Europe. Longchamp is a Parisian company and creates products for the woman on the go, in addition to the urban dweller that may travel by train. When I lived in Lyon, I saw these bags all over the place.
-Longchamp carries higher end leather goods as well, their luggage bags rule. I'm not a big fan of large brand logos on anything I carry. I like the fact that Longchamps's logo is understated.
-Jen buys her Longchamp bags at duty-free shops, which helps cut down the retail price. Nice tip, Jen!
-The tote bag has both a zipper closure and button closure - keeping your goods safe and sound.
