Mel Fox

Originally from the small town of Seward in western Pennsylvania Mel moved to Royal Oak, Michigan in March of 2008 to begin her post-graduate school career. She is a battery integration engineer at GM by day, a social media lover, girlfriend and dogmother by night! While she misses her family in PA, she loves enjoying all that the Detroit metro has to offer.

Mel is a chemical engineer who devoted her graduate studies to combustion while playing an active role on Penn State's Hybrid Vehicle team (Challenge X) and K-12 Science Outreach program (GREATT). When she's not paling around with her boyfriend or walking her dog she enjoys reading, writing, and blogging on her mac. Mel loves bacon, music, cars, the smell of old books, and pottery night with her gal pals. An engineer by training, Mel has a burning interest in nutrition, philosophy and human behavior, and aspires to one day start her own company.
