A Michigan native, Michelle attempts to live a big city life in semi-urban Royal Oak and makes it her mission to have adventures in Detroit (proper) and it’s surrounding cities on the regular. Determined to change people’s perceptions that there is nothing to do in the Detroit area, she scours newspapers, blogs, and websites (and wanders aimlessly) to find unique things to do on a budget. An expert bargain-finder she loves to share tips on decorating, dining, entertaining, beautifying and styling with a limited cash flow. When she’s not planning excursions with her friends or working at her day job in social media – she enjoys reading, writing, discovering new music, talking to her cat, and engaging in self-depreciating humor.
